Terms of Service
Effective date: April 4, 2026
1. What is ClaimSire?
ClaimSire ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent, AI-powered eligibility guidance service. We help family caregivers learn about publicly funded Medicaid self-direction programs and understand whether they may qualify.
ClaimSire is not any of the following:
- A government agency or government-affiliated website.
- A law firm or provider of legal advice.
- A healthcare provider or medical advisor.
- A licensed benefits counselor or financial advisor.
- A fiscal intermediary or managed care organization.
Using ClaimSire does not create any professional relationship between you and us. We do not guarantee that you will qualify for any program, receive any specific payment amount, or be approved for services.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ClaimSire, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use ClaimSire. By using our service, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
3. How the Service Works
ClaimSire provides a free, conversational eligibility assessment tool. No account is needed. Here is how the process works:
- Free conversation. You answer questions about your caregiving situation, your state, and the person who needs care. This conversation is always free. You will never be paywalled mid-conversation.
- Free summary. At the end of the conversation, you receive a free eligibility summary showing which programs you may qualify for and estimated pay ranges.
- Optional Benefits Blueprint ($49). If you choose, you can purchase a personalized Benefits Blueprint with detailed enrollment guidance, required documents, deadlines, and contacts for your specific programs.
4. Powered by AI
ClaimSire uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to power its eligibility conversations and generate program information. This is important for you to understand:
- AI-generated content may be incomplete, incorrect, or inappropriate. While we work to ensure accuracy, AI systems can make mistakes. Information provided by ClaimSire should not be treated as verified fact without independent confirmation.
- Not a substitute for professional guidance. ClaimSire is not a replacement for a qualified benefits counselor, social worker, attorney, or government agency. For questions about your specific legal rights, medical needs, or financial situation, consult an appropriate professional.
- You are responsible for verifying information. Before making decisions based on information from ClaimSire, confirm that information with official government sources or a qualified professional.
- No professional relationship is created. Your use of ClaimSire does not create a counselor-client, attorney-client, or any other professional relationship.
- Final eligibility is determined solely by state Medicaid agencies. ClaimSire provides preliminary guidance only. Your state Medicaid agency is the only authority that can approve or deny your application.
5. Important Disclaimers
If you are facing an immediate care crisis:
- Contact your local Area Agency on Aging at eldercare.acl.gov
- Or call 211 for immediate community resource referrals.
- All eligibility assessments provided by ClaimSire are preliminary estimates only. They are not official eligibility determinations.
- Do not quit your job or make irreversible financial decisions based on ClaimSire's assessment. Our guidance is informational. Verify your eligibility with your state Medicaid agency before making major life changes.
- Income and pay estimates are based on published state program rates and may not reflect your specific situation, county, or the current availability of funding in your area.
- Program rules, rates, and availability change without notice. Information that was accurate at the time of your conversation may become outdated.
6. Eligibility Assessment
Our assessments use the information you provide during the conversation. The accuracy of your results depends on the completeness and accuracy of your answers.
Program rules, rates, and availability change over time. Published rate ranges (for example, $1,500 to $3,000 per month) are based on official state program rate schedules and represent possible ranges, not guaranteed amounts. Your actual compensation, if approved, may differ based on the care recipient's assessed needs, your county, and available funding.
Sources include NYS DOH, CA DHCS, WA DSHS, GA DCH, and NC DHHS rate schedules, last verified March 2026.
7. The Benefits Blueprint ($49)
The Benefits Blueprint is a digital product delivered instantly after purchase via a unique URL. Each Blueprint contains:
- Personalized eligibility checklist for your state and situation.
- Program map showing which programs you may qualify for.
- Step-by-step application and enrollment guide.
- Financial worksheet with estimated pay ranges.
- Key deadlines and timeline for the enrollment process.
- Direct contact information for relevant agencies in your state.
The Blueprint reflects program information available at the time it is generated. Each Blueprint includes a "valid as of" date. Government programs change their rules, rates, and requirements over time. Your Blueprint is not automatically updated when those changes occur.
8. Payment Terms
The Benefits Blueprint costs $49 as a one-time payment. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number or payment credentials.
30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your Benefits Blueprint for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked. Email hello@claimsire.com with your order confirmation or the email address you used at checkout.
9. Your Responsibilities
When using ClaimSire, you agree to the following:
- Provide accurate and truthful information during the eligibility conversation.
- Do not rely solely on ClaimSire for eligibility decisions. Verify information with official government sources before acting on it.
- You are responsible for your own enrollment process, including submitting applications, gathering documents, and meeting deadlines.
- Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
- Do not use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from our site without permission.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on ClaimSire, including text, graphics, logos, software, and the design of the service itself, is owned by ClaimSire or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You own the information you share during your conversation. We do not claim ownership of your personal data or conversation responses.
Your purchased Benefits Blueprint is licensed for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may print or save it for your records. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish the Blueprint.
11. Privacy
Your use of ClaimSire is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Because ClaimSire collects information related to caregiving and health conditions, please also review our Health Data Policy, which describes how we handle health-related information.
Your conversation data is processed by Anthropic (the company behind the Claude AI model) to generate your eligibility assessment. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their own privacy policy.
12. Limitation of Liability
ClaimSire is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClaimSire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes damages for lost benefits, lost income, reliance on eligibility estimates, or errors in program information.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of ClaimSire shall not exceed the amount you paid us or $100, whichever is greater.
13. Dispute Resolution
(a) Informal Resolution First
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at hello@claimsire.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will work in good faith to resolve your concern within 30 days.
(b) Binding Individual Arbitration
If we cannot resolve your dispute informally within 30 days, either party may elect to resolve the dispute through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis, remotely by videoconference or telephone unless both parties agree otherwise.
(c) Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against ClaimSire.
(d) 30-Day Opt-Out Window
You have the right to opt out of binding arbitration and the class action waiver. To opt out, you must send an email to hello@claimsire.com within 30 days of your first use of ClaimSire. Your email must include your name, the email address associated with your use of ClaimSire, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration.
If you opt out, any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
(e) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page.
For material changes that affect your rights or obligations, we will notify you by email if you have provided one. Your continued use of ClaimSire after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
